I've had a busy month thank god and subsequently have not had a chance to update my blog. I wanted to share a few images from the corporate event I covered in Lisbon. While I was covering the conference I was tasked with downloading the images every couple of hours in order to get some images to America so they could be shared on the ever growing social media. Good job I took my laptop.
The Gala dinner was held at Xabregas Palace. Built in Lisbon at the end of the 16th century by the famous Portuguese sailor and aristocrat, Tristão da Cunha, the Palace of Xabregas was once an official residence of the Portuguese Royal family and was one of few buildings to survive the devastating earthquake of 1755. In order to get the overhead shot I stupidly asked to climb up to the attic room which I never knew they were renovating and I never knew had only half a floor and no lights...mobile phone torch to the rescue.
